16 Ideas for a Beach Themed Easter Basket

Easter’s on its way! Every year, the Easter Bunny leaves a little something special for the kids. Our Easter Bunny likes themes, and this year it’s Beach-Themed Easter Baskets with a few little extras thrown in. Last year gets a pass because it was 2020 –the begging of the pandemic, and no one knew how dangerous it was to leave the house to get to the store. Meaning last year, we didn’t go all out. I was worried the kids would be disappointed. They didn’t get much, we didn’t see family, and yet both girls told us that it was the best Easter ever. So keep that in mind when putting your baskets together. It isn’t about all the stuff. It really is about how you spend the day together.

We put together some ideas for a beach-themed Easter basket this year. Since the beach or anywhere by the water is our happy place, it’s the perfect basket theme! Plus, the kids need some stuff for summer. It’s a kill two birds with one stone type of thing.

Beach/Pool Related

Swimsuit – the perfect time to throw in a new swimsuit. They’ve likely grown since the last time they wore one. I snagged these for my girls.

Sandals – There are so many cute options for beachy sandals out there right now!

Sunglasses – add a cute touch.

Towel – A cute new towel, perfect for the pool or a day at the beach.

Coverup – Instead of a towel a cute coverup would work great.

Hat – to protect their faces from the sun. The pictured hat sold out. Try these instead.

Sunscreen – Practical, and it fills up some space.

Water Bottle – These water bottles are my favorite. They don’t leak, and they keep water cold. We use them for everything!

Some fun extras

Easter Candy – We never did candy in years past because they usually get it in the egg hunt. This your we’re throwing in just a little. I picked this cute bunny ear M&M treat at Target. Go early! The seasonal stuff always sells out fast!

Mask Chain – By now, I’m sure you have plenty of masks. This mask chain is the perfect accessory to keep the kids from losing their masks! I love how they are customized, and it will definitely come in handy now that the girls are headed back to in-person school in April.

Rain Boots – April showers bring May flowers. We’re hoping for more rain in California this year! Maybe adding cute rain boots will help the rain find its way here.

Hair Clips and Jewelry – are another cute addition to any Easter Basket!

Have a Happy Easter!
