The month of May was filled with exciting trips and events. My baby turned THREE! I’m still in shock and can’t decide whether I should rejoice or go hide in the corner. We’re done having babies and my babies keep growing… way. to. fast! But of course, that’s how it works, they grow and we grow into stronger individuals day by day.
We went on several mini adventures as a family and a tag along on one of my husbands work trips. California is such a beautiful state I get reminded constantly how lucky I am to live here!
Davenport
For Mother’s Day we went on a short day trip to Davenport and it was so relaxing. Any day at the beach is a good one and Mother’s Day on the beach is a dream! See more photos HERE.
San Francisco
Our tag-along trip to San Francisco was way too quick. The girls and I met the hubby in the city after the work day and headed back out the next morning after breakfast for a blog event covering the new neighborhoods in Mountain House. Just enough time to walk the pier, ride the carousel, have dinner, go for a morning stroll to the most expensive breakfast I’ve ever had in my life (although quite delicious) and then back out of there and onto our next adventure. I miss San Francisco, it’s my old college town.
Mountain House
Mountain House was a fun adventure, about 1.5 hours from home. I got inspired to do some major decorating around our house. I’ll be posting about a million photos from our tour on Monday! But here’s a sneak peak of one of the beautiful kitchens…
San Juan Batista in May
All the Flowers! May is for flowers and reminds me of my mother, her birthday and Mothers Day fall in May, and I’m sure you know the saying “April showers bring May flowers” my mom was obsessed with flowers. The girls and I drove down to San Juan Batista for the flower fields and a little Mission exploring on Memorial Day. It was beautiful! Take a look for yourself.

My Favorite Visitor
A visit from my sister made the month complete! It’s been way too long since we’ve seen her!
