A letter to my three year old
FAMILY

And Now You Are Three :: Sweet Kenzie Jean

Dear Kenzie,

It’s amazing how a year changes a person so small so drastically. Not only the growth spirt you’ve had and how long your hair has gotten but everything about you. It feels like I blinked and now you are three years old. In just a year you have developed the strongest personality full of sass, whit, and energy.

A letter to my three year old

You’ve always been my daredevil and have taken it to the next level, trying to ride your car down the stairs or climbing up whatever you can stack to reach toys on the high shelf. You’re constantly covered in dirt and bumps and bruises. Your love for speed and motorcycles is adorable, and also happens to make your daddy very happy.

A letter to my three year old

By the time you turned three, you’ve mastered peddling your tricycle and balancing on your balance bike. You don’t stop talking from the second you wake up to the second you go to sleep. You don’t pronounce ‘s’ yet so a spoon is a poon and a school is chool, that’s a little something I never want to forget. Your sister is your favorite person in the world besides mommy and daddy and your blankie is still glued to your side. We ditched the pacifier a few months ago with some hesitance but you’ve been such a big girl about it.

A letter to my three year old

Paw Patrol and Mickey and the Roadster Racers are your favorite shows but I can barely get you to stay still to watch 20 minutes of tv. You’d rather be riding bikes, painting, digging for bugs or playing dress up & family with the neighbors. School isn’t your favorite place to be dropped off but once you I leave you forget that you weren’t too happy about going.

This year all you asked for your birthday was balloons and a cake, this made me smile, reassuring the fact that its the simple things in life that matter most.

A letter to my three year old

As always I look forward to what the future has in store for you and watching you grow and learn each day.

Happy birthday to my beautiful baby girl. Never stop being you.

Love,

Mama

I’m hoping she will love to look back on these! I just need to figure out how to print blog posts into some kind of book.
I think her favorite animal changes every day haha, that was the first time I’d heard mouse!
