I named this blog Ali-ish (/alē’iSH/) because when I was a little girl I made up words all the time, I thought they were real words, but they weren’t. Words like yozen and clo. My friends made fun of me and named my language, Ali-ish. Because of this, I thought it was fitting to name the platform in which I put my thoughts into the world Ali-ish.
A Little Bit About Me
I’m pretty terrible at grammar, even worse at spelling. I even make up my own words from time to time. In real life I’m pretty quiet and shy…this is my outlet to speak my mind without getting tongue-tied or losing my train of thought. This is why I started this blog. It has evolved into more than I ever thought it would and I love sharing pieces of my story, real-life travel with kids, outfit inspiration and a little bit of the in between.
I’m afraid of the dark and denim on denim makes me cringe. Crocks are my worst enemy. I have a degree in Fine Art, specifically Fashion Design. Definitely, fashion-obsessed with a new found love for lipstick and coffee. My 2 girls and husband are my everything.
