Being a Mother
My mother was my confidant, inspiration, best friend, and most importantly she was my mom. I looked up to her more than anyone in the world. She left this world much too soon, but I feel part of her in myself daily.
I get to be a mother of two beautiful little girls just like she was.
I get the honor of being a mother.
I get to raise my daughters.
And that is such a privilege.
Being a mother is the most rewarding job ever, and the challenges, make the good days even better.
If I could have my mom back for just one day Iโd tell her how important she was to me and how much I love her. Weโd spend the day in a garden filled with peonies and Iโd introduce her to her granddaughters. Weโd talk about all of our best memories, so my girls could hear them from the most amazing woman who ever livedโฆ
Having a mother is a gift in itself, Iโd love to show my mom how important she still is to me. Iโd love to spoil her with jewelry and flowers and chocolates and lattes and hugs. Heck, Iโd take her around the world if I could.
