I have an 8-year-old! I know everyone says it but oh my goodness time flies! Someone, please make time slow down! I’ve been collecting gift ideas for 8-year-old girls for a few months and have come up with some great ideas for you! Piper already has and loves most of these items, and the others are on her wish list for Christmas now that her birthday has passed. 2. Legos – Basic legos so she can build whatever is in her imagination!
3. A Brief History of Unicorns – Piper LOVES reading a section of this book every night at bedtime.
4. Pogo Stick – For some more outdoor fun! A scooter is also a great gift idea!
5. Roller Skates – She begged for roller skates! These have amazing reviews and are the cutest! They are size adjustable so they will last a while too. I highly recommend these skates if your girl wants roller skates! We also got her these pads so she doesn’t hurt herself.
6. Puzzles – A little something to keep her busy on rainy days. 300 pieces is a good number, not too hard and not too easy!
7. Rainbow Loom – A fun craft that will provide hours of entertainment. Piper loves making bracelets for everyone!
8.Robo Kitty – Piper wanted this kitty forever and was so happy she got it for her birthday! She plays with it just about every day. I do have to warn you though, there is no volume control.
9. Scooter –also a great gift idea! Both my girls (now 8 and 5) love riding their scooters.
10. Kids Digital Camera – This one is under $25, the perfect introductory camera for kids!
11. I Found It – is such a fun game! It’s a mix of Candy Land and an Eye Spy game. I hadn’t heard of it until Piper got it for her birthday. We love playing it together and it’s easy enough the kids can play it on their own too.
12. Metallic Marker Pens – Art supplies are always a good idea! You can never have too many. These pens act like paintbrushes, with much less mess than actual paint.
