The Best Gifts for 5 Year Old Girls

After scouring the internet, these are the best gifts for 5-year-old girls I’ve found! A few of these items were personally requested from Kenzie. And some are the favorites she already has and plays with nonstop.

I can not believe my baby will be 5! F I V E filling a whole hand! Each year brings a new adventure. In my experience, 5 is a fun age where they are all about pretend play and are full of energy. For once, I planned ahead since online shopping was our only option for gifts amid the current state of our world. Here it is, Kenzie’s 5-year-old girl gift guide, perfect for birthdays and holidays!

Some popular items have sold out, so the links have been updated in the description below the image, May 2022.

1. Birthday Crown – for the birthday girl! (sold out, similar here)

2. Dresses from Pink Peony Kids – They have the cutest prints! The first time we discovered Pink Peony Kids was in a Mac & Mia Style box (now owned by Stitch Fix Kids) 4 years ago. We’ve loved them ever since! All of their clothing is soft and perfect for playtime while remaining absolutely adorable.

3. Uni The Unicorn – My girls both LOVE these books!

4. Craft Set – To let their little imaginations sore!

5. Walkie Talkies – So much fun, especially if you have siblings or a friend nearby! Walkie Talkies are one of our go-to gifts for friends’ birthdays too.

6. Popsicle Molds – We love making popsicles with pureed fruit! Such an easy way to make a healthy treat. You can even make straight water pops with them. Kids love ice!

7. Outdoor Water Play Sprinkler – I’ve been looking for a fun water sprinkler for my girls that isn’t too expensive. This Narwhal is affordable and looks so fun! (Narwhal in picture sold out, try this Dinosaur sprinkler and Unicorn Sprinkler your little ones will love! More fun sprinkler options here

8. Play Dough Set – Good old Play Dough keeps the kids entertained with little mess for a good solid hour. You can’t go wrong with Play-Dough for a 5-year-old girl or boy!

9. Polly Pocket Purse Set – A rainbow purse that’s really a fun playset with tiny Polly Pocket Dolls. I used to play with these when I was little! Polly Pocket is making a comeback!

10. Jewelry Box – A place to keep all their treasures that will last for years to come.

11. Kindle Fire for Kids – Kenzie will be getting this for her birthday! With all the online learning buying a second tablet for the family will make things a lot easier. We’re opting for the Kindle Fire Kids Edition because it is more affordable than an iPad and has a great warranty where they will replace it if it breaks in the first 2 years. Plus, it comes with a kid case to keep it protected. Our friend’s kids already have Kindles and have nothing but good things to say about them.

12. 14-inch Bike – This one comes with training wheels if needed. It is such a cute bike! At 5 kids are past the need for the tiny 12′ bike many of them learn on. Kenzie learned to ride a 2-wheeler at 4 and got her sister’s old bike when she grew out of her 12-inch bike. If I had to get her a new one, I’d buy her this one!

13. Magnetic Tiles – We’ve had these for years, and they get played with all the time!
