Top Gift Ideas for 12-Year-Old Girls

Best Gifts for 12-Year-Old Girls: Handpicked by my 12-Year-Old! My daughter is asking for these items (or already loves them) for her 12th birthday and Christmas since they are only a few months apart. Gifting can get challenging as kids get older. Keeping a list of ideas on hand for birthdays and holidays is super helpful. Piper and I have your back if you need gift ideas for your 12-year-old girl!

These ideas could work for an age range between 9 and 14 years old. My 12-year-old helped me so we’re calling it our 12-year-old girl gift guide. *Wink*

Fidgets: My girls both love fidgets. Here are a couple they both have been asking for.

Fidget shape-shifting Box on Amazon

Fidget Pen  – It’s a pen that doubles as a fidget toy. This fidget pen can be rotated and transformed into a variety of combinations.

Flying Orb

Room Decor:

12 is the perfect age to do some redecorating.  Girls are growing into themselves and have likely changed styles in the last year or so. Piper is slowly changing up her room decor.

Hanging Chair – This hanging chair is a bit of a splurge but is a fun way to redecorate any room. It’s high quality and has been the perfect place to sit and read or draw in a sketchbook. You can hang it from the ceiling or purchase a stand for it to hang on so you don’t have to put a hole in the ceiling, that is what we opted to do. Here’s a link to the stand we found on Amazon.

Wall Hanging you can clip pictures too.

  • We have a Fuji Instax Camera a film that takes the perfect pictures for this wall hanging. Here’s the starter pack my girls have.

Ivy lights to add a little sparkle to your room decor

Smiley Face cozy blanket

Wireless Charging Bluetooth speaker  – My daughter got a phone for her 11th birthday because she is always at soccer practice or training. We wanted a way to get a hold of her and her us. This speaker doubles as a charger and lights up making it easy to keep her phone charged and ready when she needs it.

Crafts are fun for girls of any age! Here are a few Piper likes:

InnovateHER Keychain Making Kit – the kit includes everything needed to create and sell six custom keychains, helping to raise entrepreneurs.

Rainbow Wall Hanging craft kit – this was really fun for my kids to make an it turned out so good! My husband thought we bought it premade.

Clay Jewelry bowls

Gel Pens – perfect for doodling

Self-care & Dainty Jewelry:

Owala water bottles are the new “it” water bottles for middle schoolers – Piper bought herself one with her birthday money. I think Stanleys are on their way out, they leak if they tip over. Owalas are much more manageable in a backpack or on the sidelines of the soccer field.

Tree Hut Body sugar scrub

Bubble Lip Balm

Claw clips

Pura Vida Bracelets

Hair ties that double as braceletscute and functional!

Shoes & Clothes: You can’t go wrong with cute shoes and hoodies at this age!

Converse Hightops

Nike Court sneakers

Girls pullover hoodie – this one comes in 14 colors and is soft and comfy.

A few other items she will love!
