It’s actually happening! The girls are going back to school in person! Well, they are going back for a hybrid learning program for the remaining 8 weeks of school, two hours a day, 4 days a week. BUT it’s something! AND it is a step in the right direction. I didn’t think I’d be backpack shopping in April but here we are. Backpacks for girls are so cute! Piper has had the same Pottery Barn backpack since preschool (she’s in 2nd grade now) and it has held up so well but it’s time for a new one since the handle keeps ripping no matter how many stitches I put in it. Kenzie’s Pottery Barn backpack is still in great shape and she loves it! So she’ll be reusing it for kindergarten and most likely 1st grade in the Fall.

I know my girls are excited, especially Kenzie, who gets to finally go to what she calls “real big school” also known as kindergarten next week.
