do good. help women with period poverty
LIFESTYLE RAISING GIRLS

Be part of the movement to help end period poverty.

When I opened my inbox and saw an opportunity to write about period products I immediately thought, yeah thanks, but no thanks, then I read a little further and really liked the cause. “Be part of the movement to help end period poverty.” So here we go!

This post is sponsored by U by Kotex but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

do good. help women with period povertyLiving here in sunny California, in an area where period products have always been readily available, not having access to them isn’t something I’ve ever thought about. As you can imagine, in the third world countries this isn’t always the case. What you might not know is it’s not only the third world counties that have this problem, the problem is very real right here in the United States.

“1 in 4 women struggles to access period products.”

I was shocked by this number. There are millions of women living in poverty that miss out on daily life because they do not have access to period supplies. Can you imagine? As a woman, not having period products would put such a difficult wrench in your days.

Together we can help change this problem.

When you purchase any package of U by Kotex® at Walmart, they will donate 2 products to women in need.

*Up to 5,000,000 products. This applies to purchases made between 10/1/18–10/31/18.

I have 2 girls and while they are very far away from needing period products the day will inevitably come. I couldn’t imagine not being able to provide my daughters with supplies to stay sanitary…could you?

Buy one and Walmart will give back 2 products to women in need
