When I opened my inbox and saw an opportunity to write about period products I immediately thought, yeah thanks, but no thanks, then I read a little further and really liked the cause. “Be part of the movement to help end period poverty.” So here we go!

Living here in sunny California, in an area where period products have always been readily available, not having access to them isn’t something I’ve ever thought about. As you can imagine, in the third world countries this isn’t always the case. What you might not know is it’s not only the third world counties that have this problem, the problem is very real right here in the United States.
