New Adventures in Blogging

When I looked at the date of my first blog post EVER I was surprised to see it was over 3.5 years ago. A Passport For My Peanut was the title and although Piper was tiny the advice I gave is surprisingly still relevant (check out her adorable faces trying to get the perfect passport photo) still in shock my first daughter is five now!!

I started blogging with a good friend of mine, we lived a couple blocks away from each other and had kids very close together (our first baby 5 weeks apart and second just 9 days apart!) making a perfect relationship for a collaborative blog about the trials and tribulations of parenting. We learned a phenomenal amount together about both parenthood and blogging. After a few years, our families moved to different towns and we mutually decided we wanted to branch out and do our own things. So here we are today both with new blogs in new communities. I am very excited about this adventure and to see where it takes each of us. All things happen for a reason, my mom always said this, and after all the years I heard her telling me, I am a strong believer  (that and “life’s a bitch and then you die,” but I’ll save that for another post someday…)

I will be changing things up a bit and focusing most on fashion, travel, and raising girls, with a little home decor thrown in there. I hope you enjoy following along! Thanks for coming by!
