The BEST end of the year Teacher Gifts According to Teachers
“I always need more books for the classroom library! A nice children’s book with a personal note in the cover would be a really appreciated gift “
“Gift card and thank you note! If it’s not in the budget to give a gift card, a children’s book is a nice gift with the thank you note! (Book can be from a used book store or even your child’s collection!)”
“My sister gives her son’s teachers a book for their class library and write a small note from the boys inside if it. We are both teachers and I love this idea; this will be the first year I get to do it. There are so many amazing picture books out there to choose.”
“Amazon gift cards, indigo gift cards ( summer reading of MY choice!) manicure or pedicure gift card, personalized pen or notebook. Thirty-one teacher tote! Honestly, all gifts are always appreciated. I love handwritten notes and pictures, I keep them in an album that I look through after long days!”
What Other Parents & Students Said
“I always get a gift card from 7-11 or Wawa so the teacher can get gas, coffee, or whatever else they need.”
“I like Starbucks card or champagne haha” – well… the champagne could get you in trouble, might want to save that gift idea for off school property. BUT it’s definitely not a bad idea!
“We usually do bath bombs or coffee mugs!!”
“Last time we just took flowers and a spa voucher.”
“This year I’m going to get a gift card for their fave restaurant and place to shop.”
“I always go to Pinterest for inspiration.”
“I did gift cards to Starbucks along with coffee mugs and flowers 🤷♀️”
“Nothing like a coffee gift card! 🙌🏽”
“Gift cards ♥️”
“I get them lotions and stuff from my moms work. @skinkc”
Teachers Said to Skip These Gifts
Mugs! “As a teacher- I don’t need more coffee mugs”
Snacks “I don’t need snacks”
An Extra Tip About Teacher Gifts!
It was brought to my attention from a few different people that the schools’ Parent Club or PTA usually has a book with all the teachers’ interests/favorites in it that you can go take a look at. I had no idea! This resource will definitely be useful for years to come!
Hopefully, this was helpful! Let me know in the comments below if you have any other great ideas!
